    On 23 November 2023, the general cargo vessel "BBC GEORGIA", while under the conduct of a pilot, reported having run aground after a total failure of its steering system in the St. Lawrence River off Grondines, QC. The vessel was anchored and the crew assessed the damage. Ingress of water was reported in some ballast tanks, a cargo hold, and the engine room. The vessel was refloated and towed to Bécancour, QC.
