On 18 June 2022, the Canadian Coast Guard Ship "ANN HARVEY", with 32 people on board, reported a fire on board while out at sea off Fogo, NL. The fire was extinguished by crew members and the vessel continued its voyage. No damage or injuries were reported.

On 31 March 2020, an unnamed barge ran aground under its own power. The unnamed barge had been in use assisting the Canadian Coast Guard ship "ANN HARVEY". The barge subsequently freed itself on the rising tide.

About This Vessel
CCGS Ann Harvey is a Canadian Coast Guard buoy tender and SAR vessel with light icebreaker duties. She was constructed in 1987 by Halifax Dartmouth Industries, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The vessel was named after Ann Harvey, the daughter of a local Newfoundland fisherman who helped rescue 185 people during her lifetime. Ann Harvey's home port is St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador and is stationed there with other Coast Guard ships.
