  On 10 June 2016, the bulk carrier "CSL THAMES", under the conduct of a pilot, reported a starboard engine failure in Plumper Sound, BC. The vessel anchored using the port engine and was later granted dispensation by Transport Canada and Class to resume its voyage with one operational engine.
