  On 18 June 2017, the product/chemical tanker "TRAVESTERN" struck the anchored product tanker "HAVELSTERN" in Loon Bay, NL while attempting to tie up alongside for a fuel transfer. Both vessels sustained damages that did not affect their seaworthiness. No injuries or pollution were reported.

  On 15 August 2015, the products/chemical tanker "HAVELSTERN" sustained a failure of its starboard windlass and consequently lost its starboard anchor 1.5 nautical miles NNE of Pangnirtung, NU after ice caused the vessel to drag his anchor,. The crew salvaged the anchor 2 days later and resumed its operations.
