On 15 July 2023, the passenger ship "BRILLIANCE OF THE SEAS" reported having sustained a total failure of an azipod's steering pump while transiting in Queen Charlotte Sound, BC. The crew temporarily isolated the issue and the vessel proceeded to its destination for repairs.
