On 26 April 2017, the bulk carrier "GREAT ANIMATION", with 21 people on board and under the conduct of a pilot, reported its anchor fouled and damaged an underwater power cable while anchoring in Plumper Sound, BC.; as a result, temporary power outage was reported for the nearby islands. The technicians repaired the damaged power cable and the power was restored. No injuries or pollution reported.
