  On 19 June 2020, the container ship "MSC FABIENNE", whilst under the conduct of a pilot, reported that it had sustained a failure of its propulsion engine and subsequently went aground 0.86 nautical miles NW of Varennes, QC. The vessel was later refloated and towed to Montreal, QC to undergo a survey by its classification society and by Transport Canada.
