    On 26 October 2014, the general cargo vessel "OCEAN KITE" reported that one of its mooring lines parted and struck a linesman on shore while the vessel was tying up alongside in Vancouver Harbor, BC. The linesman was seriously injured and sent to a hospital with a broken nose and a concussion. No damage or pollution reported.
