    On 24 June 2025, the bulk carrier "PERELIK" reported a close quarters situation with an unidentified disabled pleasure craft in the St. Lawrence River off Salaberry of Valleyfield, QC. The cargo vessel took evasive action to prevent collision. The pleasure craft's occupants jumped into the water and were rescued by another unidentified pleasure craft, who took the disabled vessel in tow.
